3 AM Thought Process.
If you smoke meth, you can get everyone to agree with your decisions and thought processes very easily. But only if you smoke meth.
Dear readers,
Most people are astronomically shallow. In the sense that they believe someone could only have gotten HIV or AIDS from a sexual encounter, and not because their nail tech didn’t sterilise the cuticle cutter after using it on an infected perso, hence, ended up spreading it. They say that how someone does one thing is how they do everything else. People who have this kind of mindset are exhausting to be around. For one, because they always want to share their unsolicited opinions, and secondly, because they refuse to open their minds to the possibility of other.
Something important I realised at 3:03 a.m. last Thursday is that there has really never been any use in exchanging harsh words with people when the goal is to convince them of an ideology. What that would make me is just one more annoying skeleton meat with noisy opinions. There’s a difference between being at peace with yourself and trying to be at peace with everyone. You can’t be at peace with others; that’s delusional. People are always looking for ways to get under your skin, both intentionally and unintentionally, which is why you have to be at peace with yourself.
Rosa Parks said “Nah.” in 1955. Brand new strings of words are assembled every minute since mankind learned to read and write, but I have never related to words the way I related to Rosa’s. I often think that for someone to just say nah: “Nah, it’s okay”, means that they believe their point is so solid that there’s no need to bear the burden of proof.

I agreed to be cheesily okay with being misconstrued courtesy of my beliefs, and to never try to convince anyone otherwise. For one, because it is tiresome. Secondly, I learnt the concept of centre of control, centre of influence, and centre of concern. It dictates that we can mostly inspire people to change. We can never force them.
Which ideally brought forth the truth that real change emerges from within before it can poke the butt of the next person. As within, so without. It is debilitating to play FBI, always breaking news to people about what they refuse to see, or aren’t ready to see. At that point, you and the idiots are none the wiser. Let them watch and learn. And feel.
